in about two weeks i'm leaving for a six week holliday to cambodja. i'm travellng alone, backpacking.
it shall be a mixture of a cultural holliday and an adventerous self-finding process. also i wanna work the finishing touches on a book i write for over a decade now...
i'm european, and i know nothing of this country (except some bits about it's newer history) - that's why i choose cambodja.
any tipps, suggestions or advice for me?
are there even cambodjians playing this game (i guess not - or just very few...)
thx to all |
don't forget your laptop! not logging in for more than a week may lead to unpredictable states of mind ;}} |
agreed with georgie you must also take holiday snapshots which you'll share with us during and after )
Introduce any local savages you meet to our culture: LWM!
Be careful travelling alone..., the Cambodians I know escaped their country in distress, let's hope things are different now ) |
Wow! that sounds great! :)I've never been to that part of the world myself, but as an experienced backpacker, the best piece of advice i can give you is don't go knowing nothing of the country - at least make sure you have a lonely planet or roughguide book for reference. I know a couple of people who've been to Cambodia, i'll ask them about it and let you know if i find out anything useful.
Have a great time! I'm jealous! ;) |
