I bought the TGI at ~1400 labourpoints for 550 (the last below 600 before the price exploded to 750). But i guess i just enroll relatively well.
I ambush semi-full arted, because i do it without the most expensive arts, but at least i win the pvp's... (except on the 2nd birthday when everyone walked around with full-arts :P).
But ambushing didn't bring me a lot of fun yet. |

As many as possible.
If you want to buy it at low level fight only once every 10 enrollment. Then, i am sure you will be able to have it on low lvl. |

I made some small calculations. Here is what i ve got.
If you start from 0 LG point and you enroll in mines (wage 175) You need:
-1758 enroll to get 700k,
-1853 emroll to get 750k,
-1948 emroll to get 800k,
-3000 enroll to get 1336650 gold
On low level you don't need arts so it possible after 4-7 months depending how often you enroll (10-15 times/per day) |
| yeahh the best time to start doing TG is level 6 .. but when ur LG = 4 and ur HG = 4 .. that is the best I think .. coz u will get more defence and attack and they will be useful to fight against the caravans |

However you wont have the money for a TGI at level 6 - unless you rarley ever fight. :)
But even in this case you have to fight now and than to prevent the workaholic rule.
Unless you really avoid all fights and stay with a workaholic of 0.1 and do around 40-70 months till you have enough money.
I know that Level 6 is the best for thiving - but because of the two rules changes (workaholic, no two TGIs for each thief) - it is impossible to get enough gold and stay at low level, unless you either cheat or lovee to roll in with workaholic. |
This is where you are very wrong
You see you can be a level 6 and have a LG 0 and still be a thief
All you need to do, is use diamonds

| Seriously, if i were to do it again i wouldnt even buy a tgi until i needed to, its really not worth all the hype, i started at lvl 6 when i could afford it and have recently stopped thieving cause i got bored of it... |
it's more because the thieves are not rich enough to get good arts !!! and they are getting it !!

Roulette is a very bad idea
because everything will be lost in a matter of minutes
Anyway, what would your interested be in a TGI you are a lvl3 |

I did get a TGI from the old rules, but I can promise you I have spent more money on thieving then I have gained. I ambush on min arts, but even then I will spend about 200 per ambush, and get around 150 every 5th or 6th ambush.
Considering I've got 300 thief points, that represents about 1500 ambushes which is about 300K lost through theiving. But it was well worth gettong the thief arts and initiative points.
I also spent a moderate amount of money changing to demon faction for a bit. I have not sold many of my elements. If I had not got my TGI through the old rules, I still could have got it through selling elements gotten from merc missions, money from enrolling, being conservative with arts and keeping to 1 faction.
TGI isn't easy. it's all about patience.... or diamonds. |

For Fishy : Yeahh TG is for fun only .. hard to gain gold from that , but maybe just do with min AP |
| @Chaos - It was just to show that I've probably lost $300K through thieving. Add the $500K I have + the $150K + of resources I have, not to mention my elements, and I could easily have purchased my thief invite. |

| @ Fishy : Yeahh thievings need a lot of gold and time .. but it is a lot of fun .. Enjoy it .. and I think just do not think about the gold u have wasted ... it is like Group Battles .. u need arts to fight |
