Authorwords that should be acceptable for namecalling
Inspired by a conversation started in chat room about the word "noob". =D

these are some words that one probably shouldnt be offended by, maybe feel a little demoralized, but not offended:

newbie
doodooface
poopy pants (unless you actually have poopy pants ofc)
poohead
ugly elf (no such thing anyways)

these are some words that one probably should be offended by and you should refrain from being them, within the limits of lordswm at least:

noob
AFKer
anything with 4 letters and one or more of them being an *
lukeman56789 (unless u are actually lukeman56789)
ugly elf - 100k fine right away!
i only recently realised there was a difference between the terms noob and newbie :D So what should I call myself for my ignorance??? XD
"noob" means new player but,no one uses it for that term."gay" means happy but no one uses it for that term either.so,why would noob be different from newbie?
"noob" means new player but,no one uses it for that term.
Actually newb means new player, noob means a total idiot who would make a new players mistakes, or just a total idiot :P

"gay" means happy but no one uses it for that term either
Tolkien would like to talk to you :P
"noob" actually does mean new player u cans earch it up if you want
A good set of definitions on noob vs newb can be found at the link below.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=noob

Noob - insult or derogatory
Newb - new player, not derogatory
There's enough confusion though, as evidenced above, that a person could easily be insulted by it. If you call someone a newb he doesn't know about this nuanced definition, then they could easily see it as an insult.
^^ Noob is a dumbell while newbie is free stuff.
skunder: are we supposed to add on to either lists with other words as well?
