The ipod should have come with a usb cord
Now this is judging from mine
U plug the cord in, and if you have mac, it all describs its self, and auto charges just by being on the usb cord in the computer

To transfer songs from your PC to ipod use itunes.
For charging: I have 2 PC's, with my old PC I have problems to charge the ipod, maybe low usb standard or low power supply, my newer PC makes no problems.
Have you tried different usb slots (better use rear slots instead of front usb) ? |
