Cards scripts, cheating at cards, etc.

AuthorCards scripts, cheating at cards, etc.
So you're sayng you believe that there is a small possibility that there are players using scripts to cheat at cards.

However this "remote" "chance" was enough for you to PM others to share the POSSIBILITY that some players may be using some illegal scripts.

Surely the correct thing to do here is to report your suspicions to the Admins or someone that could do something, rather than spreading what I could only describe as rumours that there *might* be someone using illegal methods to cheat at cards?

What did you expect these other people to do about it? If you were looking for action on your suspicions surely mailing others players woudl achieve nothing.

Unless, of course your intent was to try and strat an embargo on those players you were warning the others about?

kindly step back and think for a second here.

How is reporting to the admins gonna achieve anything, since it's just a possibility? Go look at the C&A. There are clear cut cases with proof that are more than a year old, and it's still in limbo(??).

I'm not looking at 'action' on my suspicion. Never said that.

First off, there are no 'those players'. There was only 1 player.

I'll repeat what I said earlier - If you think there's a possibility that 2 players are teaming in GB (just a possibility, mind you), and a friend of yours keeps joining their battles and losing, wouldn't you tell them of your suspicion too? I'm pretty sure you will.

Isn't it within a friend's rights to warn a friend of a suspicion and leave the ultimate decision to them? I didn't say they are definitely cheating. I didn't say they should not play with them. Hell, after reading my own PM, I wasn't even trying very hard to convince those I wrote to to not play the player at any cost, which seems to be implied in some of the posts here. I just told them my opinion, and left the decision to them.

And if I really wanna spread whatever it is we are talking about, trust me, there are better and more effective ways than sending a few PMs. Really. But it's not my intentions, contrary to what some would think, using their own opinion.

Anyway, like I said. I respect others' opinion, and they should respect others' too.

K, this is enough. I really need to go watch my football! :)
Sorry, edit -

This thread will add nothing more than flame. I'm closing it down. Keep it to PMs if you want to continue it. I also recommend keeping any PMs tame. "He started it" doesn't hold much grounds with the admins who deal with insults I believe.
