hey guys do you think about these ?
these without reason:
elf: the closest race to nature , should get nature magic very easy in talent ,which should be cost 7/perlevel not 9 ..
wiz: magics r all his power ,should get chaos magic cost 7/perlevel not 10 in talent..
these with reason:
kni: come from heaven ,get holy cost 7/per
nce: come from tomb, get dark cost 7/per
bb and demon both come from hell, get "attack" cost 7/per
DE: i don't know ! so he get nothing ! hehe :) | dark elf: naughty elf, get1 morale? | barb is closer race to nature than elf | And what was the question again?
Well, these things are based on game balance, not only these "how do I imagine this race" qualities. | Actually, refering to homm5, elfs favorite magic schools are light and destructive (chaos). An elf has only 2x2% chances of getting summoning (nature) talent per level, wich is the lowest possible.
I'm not russian, but imo nature is only called so because of poor traduction. It should be called summoning since most spells in that school are summons.
By the way, summoning is wizards favorite magic school. Destructive (chaos) is for DE. | Well, these things are based on game balance, not only these "how do I imagine this race" qualities.
really true ... but still it would make sense (and fun) that races characters would be reflected in talents and attitudes ... something like:
Knights: Paladins and Defenders of the Holy Good
Defence (7), Holy Magic (8)
Barbarians: Strong and harsh fighters, of prolific races
Offence (7), Morale (8)
Elves: Forest dwindlers and fierce race blessed by their gods
Nature (7), Luck (8)
Dark Elves: Dark counterparts of elves, masters of chaos and treachery
Chaos (7), Offence (8)
Demons: Hellish, blood-lusty warriors with sulphur-blasting spells
Offence (7), Darkness (8)
Wizards: Masters of Spell fighting
Sorcery (7), Nature and Chaos (8)
Necromancers: Wizards intrigued with death and true sense of nature
Nature (7), Sorcery (8) | Well, actually it was like this(sort of), but was changed to give game better balance. | dark elf: naughty elf

really? but, from what i saw on HoMM5 talent wheel on those generic style on each faction:
elf is favor on light (so called holy in LWM), luck and logistic (we dont have this in LWM) :)
nerco is favor dark, nature and enlightenment (so called erudition in LWM)
knight is favor def, leadership, light
wiz is favor sorcery, enlightenment and war machine (we dont have this)
demon is favor on attack (so called offense in LWM), dark and logistic
DE is favor on chaos, sorcery and luck.
barbarian is favor on attack, leadership and war machine
dwarf (if we got it later) is favor on defense, chaos and nature

hence, under HoMM5 setting, you can find out THAT:
- wiz is suppose to cast more magic and more frequent.
- DE deliver highest spell dmg per cast.
wiz never prefer summon, only nerco summon at most of cases according the favorite talent. | I like the war machines better than the troops :)
so the talent must be changed to have "war machine skill" ,
and barb has "crying magic" which awesome and cost mana | @9:

Acoording to 3.1 skillwheel,
Chances to get given talent in one of the slots at each level up:
holy :
knight: 8% - elf: 8% - wizard: 10% - demon: 2% - DE: 2% - Necro: 2%
summoning :
knight: 2% - elf: 2% - wizard: 15% - demon: 2% - DE: 10% - Necro: 10%
destructive :
knight: 2% - elf: 8% - wizard: 8% - demon: 10% - DE: 15% - Necro: 8%
darkness :
