Thanks for help with this. I assume that the might build focuses less on spellpower/knowledge and more stats on defense/attack?

If so, how do you get back the points you previously spent on spellpower/knowledge in order to utilize them better for might build?

Yes, focus on attack and defense. But you will find (on later levels)all kind of little holy/nature magic more and more useful. That's because your only (possible) might-talent is erudition (and magic mirror, eh?). So then you may take few knowledges and Adv./Exp. Nature Magic + Wasp Swarm or 3-5 Spellpowers/Knowledges + Exp. Holy Magic+Dominion.

That's the point. Though, as might, I believe that all points in atk OR def is the way to go (ofc, you may also had a bit in SP/KN if you feel like). It's said that might wiz is only doing good in PvP while beeing bad at PvE. I've been waiting to go might at lvl 10 because of holy magic, but still didn't tried as wiz; I'm sticking as nec ATM. Yet, I believe that it may be done at lvl 9 since, more than holy magic wich is just optionnal, you get genies recruit count boosted.

Well, as stated, you may get more experienced points of view on wiz topic; there are very few might wiz, so it's the best place to get advices on it.
Wizard's troops are not for hand-to-hand combat. Gargs are dealing little damage, Genies and Magi are very weak, Golems are awfully slow. So it's better to be "normal" wizard with developed spell power and knowledge. And... fly gargs,fly!

That's true too, but think about this:
- Gargoyles are 2nd most durable stack in the whole game, they have enrage, with mini-arts they have 9 speed and they're immune to most magic.
- Genies deal the highest damage of 5th tier, their upgrade has magic resistance, with mini arts they have 9 speed and their iniative is relatively good.
- Magis deal amazing damage if their through shot is put to use.
And anyways, Lorekeepers can cast chastice and dispersion those are really useful for Might-Wiz.
- Golems are (okay) low numbered, otherwise great defense-units. And usually people take gargoyles instead of Golems.
- And the Sphynx Guardians (those you ignored) have non-retaliation + good damage and HP.

Wizard's melee troops are good enough for PvP, against PvE (except thieving perhaps, those Magic-Wiz can't handle anyways).

And how about hunting and MG quests? Might Wiz means the refusal of spell damage bonus. Instead of it you'll need a full set of arts. It's very expensive!

true, but Might-arts are much cheaper than magic ones. So if you thief/play PvP:s much, Might-Wiz may be even cheaper.
I've seen some low level might wizards who did very well.
Thank you all very much, this was very helpful. I am probably going to try might since it seems that wizs arnt kicking ass at PvP at lvl 9... they are, imo, near the bottom of the stack but i might be biased :p
Wizards are good at almost every lvl, even nine.
wizards are one of the best at level 9, because of treasury construction. as a level 8 wizard, i already beat many factions (knight, de, necro), and i win sometimes against elf. on level 9, wiz becomes even better compared to other factions.

about might build: you could also take 3 knowledge, 10 spell power (or something similar), and use dominion of fire with fireball spell in gb. this is for full arts battles though.
