I have this problem for a while. I only have one knowledge point which means 10 mana points which i usually use for two distruption ray spells. but every now and then when i am sure that it must be full in the game it is not. my last hunt is an example:

...
you can clearly see that there is more than 5 hours difference between the 2 last fights but i had only 7 mana at the beginning. |
