You must have accidentally equipped it and not noticed.
I've checked most of your battles between 09-24-10 14:09 and 09-26-10 07:55 and in each one you seem to have a Luck of 1 (with the exception of a battle following an AFK where your luck was -1, due to the AFK penalty of -2 luck).
That corresponds to 25 battles, which matches the necklace having 0 durability.
This would seem to be a more likely explanation than a mysterious bug that "eats" durability.

Each battle where you wear the artifact, it loses 1 durability, including those where you are AFK.
You were wearing it for all the battles from 09-24-10 14:09 and 09-26-10 07:55, 25 battles in total.
Each battle cost you 1 durability, so your amulet used a total of 25 durability.
It was *not* a bug, just normal game processes.
