In HOMM, you get 'x' experience points for 'y' type of creature killed so why can't that apply for Lords? Maybe it does (this would have helped ethereality so much if posted a month ago :-D) which is why I have calculated the experience gained for each creature killed. Note that the experience gained is in min AP against neutrals.

| Forgot to add that these experience only work in a successful combat and the xp given is for each creature killed. So if you kill 10 patriarchs (that is the dwarven tier 5) you get 200 xp. |
