see the kinda troops opponents have??? these battles are so uneven and unbalanced. 249 goblinarchers, 50 plus orc cheifs, 40 plus shrews and bloodsisters and 22 rocs.
is this a joke or just an attemt to waste our arts durability.

Like they said, you were playing too bad. I have to admit, the middle barb was not the easiest opponent, since most off his troops were shooters or rocs (not a lot of wolves or ogres "slow units"), but it's not even close as bad as it can get. I've got 700+ goblin archers once and 20+ rocs for a lvl 13 is nothing unusual. Work on your tactics and you will get better.
This game is not hard if middle barb move his (5)rocs one tier in front to block them ( and orc + hob kill them)
Since Level determines all, once middle barb in your team falls you will feel hopeless.

The first lesson everyone should learn from this... keep the good troops at the back where they are safe! usually, your opponent will come to you. Those 100+ hobs died because they were on the front row. (of course, there are exceptions, like shrews and cerbs, and high ini creatures that would go before the birds/shrews).

No you are not right. Only low level players even without full arts have chance of winning all 4 fights. Highest level players have no chance even if they have three full enchanted weapons.
What would be the point of an event that lasts a week?We don't have many of these so enjoy it!Even if you don't get to the last wave you get a decent amounts of fsp per low exp, chance of getting element or arts and finally points.

switch to wizard

First when i was a demon at best i could enter wave 3 with only a few cave demons left.
Switched to wizard, first try we made it to wave 4, but it was a black dragon boss >.<
Then another try but the AI was stupid there. 3 bandits that attacked instead of running away, so no chance to revive our fallen units.
Third try as wizard. I enter the fourth wave and the troops i lost:
1 gremlin, 1 lorekeeper, 1 genie, 1 sphynx warrior and around 100 mana.
We face a level 7 boss, easily killed, we even managed to kill the entire fourth wave as well.

so for wizards it is easy at the higher levels
for demons it is almost impossible

Happened to me too, hero had next turn and 4 bandits attacked a stack of 40 guardians -.-


In my experience on this event at least one mage on the team is so handy, esp on the final boss kill

1 cyclop left and it keeps running away so we can raise everything.
Sometimes i play survival tournaments, and there the AI does the same thing.
If you place a large stack next to a few shooters, they will run away or sometimes even wait

It happened also to me, I believe that they attacked 'cause the have no melee penalty

I can tell you why,at first the difficult is hard,every time I reach 3th round,I have almost no army,the enemy is very easy but we still lose,because I only have one stack of apparition.same as my partners.
yesterday,I and my military partners equip enchanted weapon and armor.easily reach 3th round with a lot of soldiers,rounds of enemy are waiting for us.
It's the silly program:your enemies somewhat are decided in how many troops you left.how would it better than a magic heroes with enchanted gargoyles?
even only need to kill 1 more gargoyle can defeat wizard hero,the poor AI would not do.
