what does it say about a game and community that acknowledges an achievement of someone who cheated? It's the equivalent of a steroids user on a professional sports team...
I don't see how a getting illegal financial help negates the fact that someone defeated 1000 sprites at level 7.
because the chances are big that this player probably couldn't have done this without illegal financial help... (e.g. buying diamonds and their upgrades at the RoH-repository, buying the best arts and getting the best enchants...)
And what if the player is blocked by own will?
That's the player's choice.
What if the player gets unblocked? (...), who is going to spend hours figuring out what achievements he/she should have restored?
That could indeed be a problem. Just like the non-battle-non-financial related blocks (post #7).
A blocked player deserves no accolades.
How about a negative one, in all the logs and lists? Player's name in a different colour, or a [B] or icon next to the name?
This will be temporary, untill (s)he gets permanently blocked (meaning he has no chance to come back and play) (...),an ultimate deletion of that character would be the final step. |

who would even want to be nr1 if he doesnt actually deserve it, knowing somebody WAS better? everybody can rent the best arts or enchants but you cant buy record. |

| I agree with Stoter. Especially for lower level achievements, a financial assist can get enchanted arts they otherwise wouldn't have. And the steroid user analogy is very apt. Do we want to have on our leaderboards cheaters? |
im my eyes, a victory or achievement recieved by cheating is worth nothing, but i fear we will have cheaters on leaderboards and it will be almost impossible to stop them
what about won money in tourneys? cheaters should pay back? will another player recieve that money?

If he got blocked and leave the game, he won't will care if his record stay or not...
Also if he wanna restart, he i'll wanna try beat same record with new account. |
What is someone is wrongfully blocked ? or is on BOW and havne't been unblocked till date ? :D
He still looses his achievements without his fault or any wrong-doing? ;) |
