to get started, i would like to ask for some help on strategies in an MG quest.

I'm not sure if you could have won, but if you used advanced defence + avoidance + last breath, I think you would have had a greater chance. You could protect your shooters with 2 sprites and watch the effect of last breath :)

but he will have much less damage output and still can't kill those ogres I think
Points on knowledge in lvl 6 necessary? (for multi) ;)

i dont think it would be a good idea to be magic at that lvl. so, no, its not necessary :)

May be summon phantom could have helped a lot. may be 2 one on uni and one on bows!
if i remember right, summon phantom is a lvl 3 magic guild spell, which requires me to build all the 3 magic guilds which i cant afford right right now. so, well, i cant do that one atm :)
Phantoms are imperative as soon as you can get them. If you plan on staying Elf for a while you should make getting them priority, second only to keeping up your min arts.
Level 13, Holy Magic Guild.

What stats and play strategy recommended?

What kind of battles do you want to use Holy Elf for? Almost all hunts and merc missions, Holy is inferior to Nature when you take into consideration the skill points you would have to spend on knowledge and spell power (Nature requires no spell power but Holy requires at least 3 to be useful, and at least 4 or 5 knowledge to be efficient in casting). Counting on your Anchorites for your mana isn't very wise, either. They can stoneskin at expert level so your hero doesn't have to, and a stack of a few Anchorites conveying 3 mana at a time to your hero isn't going to be efficient enough in the long run.

If you're going Holy, it would only be useful in PvP or PvE event matches... and even then phantoms may be better.
I just wanted to try out a new style of game play for a change. That's why.
Elf has high initiative.. Think about what mass rapid can do !!! You can act twice in one turn. And then if the morale trigger then its a disaster for enemy
Yeah . . . the very fact that Mass Rapid can get your Efk to over 24 Initiative at Minimum AP is what impressed me the most.

But the only bad part is that you have to practically waste your first two turns inorder to get your Army revved up with the spells.

That's not even double their init. Even if it were, what's the difference in having two equal stacks of EFK and one stack of the same size as either of the other two that acts twice as often?
Phantoms are good in hunts. But in PvP (especially in group battles), You may be just wasting ur mana to call phantom.
