The golden cards themselves do that, not having the choice to play with them or not. (But perhaps I'm missing your point...)

That's exactly the problem. Players are forced to buy a batch of 20 cards, so every game after buying automatically costs 50 gold per game. I admit, that's not that much, but still, it's about the principle -- players should have the freedom to choose per game, not per 20 games.
That said, you can almost be certain that players betting 200 gold or higher (maybe even 40 gold) are using golden cards, so the bets kind of specify whether or not the challenger is using them. ;) Still, I agree, an icon or something would be better... (then again, some players want to use the golden cards secretly...) |
