now a long time ago I questioned who would win out of Goku and Super-Man. 90 percent agreed Goku.

its funny you say that because that was the first person I thought of too, just I don't really know his stats and what he can really do other than what I saw in the movie.

Dr Manhattan has no stats. His end line in the comics is something along the line of "I think I'll go to a new galaxy and create some life". Stats are only relevant in a game. In a game the person controlling the game only needs two words when dealing with Dr manhattan. You lose.
Player: But my hero is invulnerable to everything.
GM: You lose. Player: But. Gm: Zip it.
You get the theme.
For good super hero comics I liked "The authority". Bit old now.
For off the wall, "Transmetropolitan" and "The Invisibles" is out there. "Preacher" and "Lobo" are good if you like gutter humour. "Slaine", "ABC Warriors" and "Nemesis" are worth reading and it is where some of the comic "Gods" started.
Everyone should read Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Early Sandman (I think the later series were not as good), Black Night Returns (don't bother with the sequel). |
