In Ukraine more than 60 000 dogs and cats have been killed because to "clean" the streets for EURO 2012. Please SHARE so everybody can see in what world we live today!
In Ukraine the president signed a contract. It was written there that the police men should hunt down the homeless dogs and burn them alive in a special oven that they made specially for burning homeless dogs and cats. This is inhumane!

for technoscarlet:
but I like euro and uefa..
Are you sure this is 100% true? |
Im a super huge football fan
Are u sure all this is true ?
Can u show some official report or any evidence ? |
i dont want to believe that uefa is killing dogs and cats to "clean" the cities and to have a nice tournament. perhaps the the politicians have given this work to the police in your country but not the uefa, the uefa isnt allowed rule over police in any country. |
I completely agree
Its ur govt, not UEFA |
I am a big football fan...but Uefa cant be blamed for this..can it..?? |

Well,i found it posted on facebgook..im not sure either, but i hope people from the country can explain.. |
not my country,i think u mean the country that held the tournament..actually the goverment.. |
I am against it if it is true. I don't like dogs (since the time one bit me) but killing them this way is inhumane. Even they have the right to live. |
You'll end up boycotting any and all events if you did that. Even "good" countries such as my own, Australia, made homeless people "move on" during the Sydney Olympics. Don't think London wont do the same.
Some unsavoury acts are done with any large event to present a positive image to the world. Scratch a bit underneath the surface and you'll see some ugly sights. |
only against this kind of act.. |
Well,i found it posted on facebgook..im not sure either, but i hope people from the country can explain..
UEFA EURO 2012!footballing action is coming!!Hold your breath guys!
I have heard much better rumours on FB so any other evidence I would surely consider it. |

I'm from Ukraine and what can I say?
Well during all my life I saw a lot of dogs on the streets of my country.
Yes, there are no special caring organizations for homeless animals, but noone killed'em. Even today in my window I see a lot of homeless dogs and cats walking on streets of my city. So your information was only a result of try of politicians to influence our mind) They wanted to boycott trow agreement with M. Platini, but he said that football is football, not politics.
In my my country homeless dogs and cats are cared by their own and by citizens. Dogs don't eat each other, like it said at 7th post.
So think, think and think again)
Yours faithfully, Soul. |
try of politicians to influence our mind
In the United States there are 14,748 murders every year (statistics of 2010, [q]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_the_United_States#Homicide). That means 41 people being killed by other people, every day. Boycott anyone?
Food for thought.... |
Lol
Humans are funny, they don't care about humans killing humans but about some fake news abt some dogs being killed . -_- |
They are homeless dogs. If you really care about them then adopt some of them. I think it's better to kill them rather than to have them starve in the streets or possibly bite the citizens. |
well the welfare of dogs and humans is a lot more important than a stupid football game anyway...
boycott all corporate organised sports is my opinion.
they are bad for society and ruin our priorities. |
