We have to consider that people also have real life commitments and getting 2 specific players online at the same time and ready to play is a challenge. We could extend it to 2 days, more than that would drag the tourney above 2 weeks.

Exactly and btw too much flood in this topic. Could you not set person for results and than he could post results every day or 2 here? Or even better put results somewhere else like it was in hunter event. Mail about draws should have been sent too clan leaders as well so they inform their clan. |

It is not easy to organise an event like this, so improvements as we go along are ok. Big thanks to Vlaer and Speedofsound for this (and anyone else who may be involved who i don't know about).
I suggest, Vlaer, that you send a pm to clan leader of involved clans with the links for the tavern and duel competitions and also the deadlines - with dates and server times (saying in 2 days is too vague esp when people may not read it on the day you posted!).
Also name a person who should be pm'd with results so they can collect them all together and post them here in just a few posts. Danzi is totally right about the flooding that will ensue if every individual participant reports in this thread. |
