| | | | | Eric’s gaze fell on a small hall, labelled as ‘Discussion Forum’ on the wooden board that hung outside. He felt “Why don’t I go and check that out?” So Eric headed to the Discussion Forum.

While walking past hundreds of people gathered in and around the area, Eric encountered a strange fellow having a rather stranger conversation with his friend. He said to his friend “I don’t know why these fools are taking part in this tournament...there are no prizes, then what’s the fun of taking part?” Eric got irritated upon hearing this and said to himself “Cool down Eric, there will always be people who don’t appreciate the value of things. They do not know that a prize is nowhere as compared to the immense satisfaction we receive when we uphold the pride of our motherland by bringing a medal for it. such people are money minded, and will always be. Ignoring them is the best idea” He quickly turned around and walked away from the spot. | Eric was about to leave when he realized that he had forgotten to ask something important. He headed back to the FAQ desk only to find that a long queue had gathered in front of it. “Man, what do I do know?” Eric thought. Just then, he saw a man passing by with the rule sheet in his hand. “I wanted to know something. What if a particular combat doesn’t take place? In the general rules’ sheet, its written that a roulette draw will take place. What is that?” asked Eric. “Good question. Even I had the same doubt and just now, I had it cleared from the lady at the FAQ desk. Beautiful, isn’t she?” said the man with a wink. “Anyways” the man continued “Its basically a form of lucky draw. In each bracket, there are sub-divisions (2 rectangular boxes) where the opponents of each round are mentioned. As you know in the boxes, the name of one participant is written above the name of the other. So, if a match doesn’t take place, the result of the roulette at 15:00 will be seen and used for the draw. If red comes, then the person whose name is written on the upper box gets the bye. Else if black comes, the person whose name is written in the lower box gets the bye. If 0 or 00 comes, then the result of the spin occurring in the next 10 minutes will be used” “Thanks” said Eric “You have helped me alot” | Eric was completely exhausted, it was noon by the time he had completed all procedures and understood all about the tournament. As he was heading back, he saw a wooden board of the way, on which it was written:

He took one. It was about the event he had just taken part in. His eyes randomly read these lines:
