I have just finished an hour long game with od3ssa.
The stake was 40 gold and it took an hour.
He makes his move when his timer still has 4-7 seconds left.
I asked him if there was anything that caused him to play at the speed he did, but to no answer. (I make my moves instantly)
Is it legal to deliberately delay the game? If so, what is to stop me from baiting with high gold stakes (or even low gold stakes, because they are easier to let go of), setting the timer to 45, and waiting for the time to reach 1 in hopes my opponent just gets frustrated and leaves? Or at the very least, waste 45 minutes of his time? |
