Author[News] Changes in Economy
It seems that many artifact prices have changed so time to verify our cost calculations...
afaik price per battle has stayed the same.
Just cheaper price and no sellback price anymore
for Sven91:

I am wondering about the same thing. Can't wait to figure it out.
Hm...
upon further investigation it appears the facilties on the map are ~3% cheaper now and artifact store still has the same price. Not sure about the sellback price, but if that stayed the same as well.

Then.... people that had lots of artifacts in their inventory just lost a big chunk of gold :P
3% of the selling value is not too much to cry about.
Er..so price hasn't changed in the shop ? only in factories ?

And yeah we can still sellback the arts.
Light axe in shop : 860 gold

Light axe in factory : 834 gold.

Not much maybe on these arts,on high lvl arts maybe a small difference.
The big problem is when we buy arts from the map, we use gold; when sell back, we get gold + resources (wood, ore, gem...); then we used gold for a new art; once it's cycling on, the resources will be useless unless you buy directly from shop.
what is purpose of this update? kill shop artifact market traders? admins must refill shop then
I think purpose is to make us travel more
But only time when you need arts, during events, all facilties have 0 in stock. So you ll go back to market or shop anyway.
I think purpose is to make us travel more

I don't think so. Before the update there is no art in the "artifact shop" either, players still need to travel around to buy arts.

One effect I would see from this update is that since people pay less money to buy an art, the money in all production facilities will be reduced. So it will be even harder to get a chance to enroll in production works.

Another effect was that since there will always be arts available in artifact shop, the price on market won't go up too high during event times. It's harder to make money from re-selling arts during that time.

Also since there will be someone who would buy arts from artifact shop, the money flow in the whole community will be somehow reduced. That's because when you buy from artifact shop, you money goes to empire, and that's like your money is "disappeared". So maybe the price for elements, rare arts and TGI will decrease slightly.
IMO the purpose is to make cap on resellers margin. If reseller margin is too high, player can always buy from shop while before, for many arts shop was empty.

There are for sure more purposes of it. Players who value comfortability above savings, will always have the option to buy from shop instead of travelling around the map or risk even more overpaying on the market.
If i am right (need to verify) those changes in economy give us quite nice advantages. It will be from 10 to 18% cheaper cost of using artifacts from facilities - varies on different artifacts. As examples cost of Medal of bravery is about 18% cheaper and cost of Blade of rebirth is a little over 10% cheaper.
if the purpose was to keep a stock in artifact shop, why not simple give artifact shop an unlimited stock >.>
A decrease in facility prices will increase the demand for facility arts.
for DarwenAward:

good point
for Levittoux:
Medal of bravery is about 18% cheaper

18% ? how ? I mean shop rate is 1300 gold + 1 crystal = 1660 gold.From factory it is 1610 gold.which is abt 3% cheaper.
1720 - Production old
1660 - shop
1610 - Production new
1660*0.65=1079
1720-1079=641 gold (old)
1610-1079=531 gold (new)
(1720-1610)/1660=0,066=6,6%
(641-531)/641=0,172=17,2%
hello, guys

shops purchasing artifacts on facilities

purpose is to make our game more comfortable)

Only side that should have problem - active clans that sell arts from their facilities on market - cause now government shops buy arts from the most full filled stores

what means "non-spilling mug" google translate give me such a absurd//
