Finally something to make arts more accesible. What do you think will result? |
selling broken artifact to "state" is an important way to increase total amount of gold in the server. Since this way is shut, the increase of total amount of gold will be very slow -- even negative.
So it seems to me that price for luxury items such as rare arts, enchants and estates will decrease in the long run. |
1. float capital increased (since the arts now don't occupy some amount), may cause some item prices higher, e.g. Thief Guild Invitation, Elements etc.
2.repair may be easier to train up since they can get free worn item to practice.
3. what's more? |

thank you admins,best change ever ! :D |
As the cost of art decreased,
it will take much more time to gain SGP. |
I think its kind of weird that items that cannot be sold to the empire also have compensation. It's like free gold out of thin air. I'm debating with myself whether I should exploit it or not... XD

good change! |
Suddenly, I'm rich again. At first I was aghast at the prospect of not being able to resell my worn out Artifacts, but when I realized that they would be so much less expensive to buy in the first place, I understood this to be a big improvement. Anyway, I got my compensation for all my Artifacts and my Gold and Resources are at the level they were before I purchased them.
This may not be too important for players who have lots of Gold and Resources, but my two Additional Characters were living at the poverty level. The compensation really helped them out a lot.
Anyhow, I think the decreased cost of Artifacts from the Shop and in the Factories will help newer players be able to purchase their required Artifacts easier. May even keep some players from quitting or getting really discouraged early on in the game since they can acquire Artifacts for a lot less Gold and less stress too.
So far, I think it's a great improvement, but I'll have to see how it goes in the next several weeks/months to be sure. |

for Grusharaburas:
it's not free gold, they are simply giving you the gold you would have got if you sold the old artifacts in your inventory at 0/x durability. |
nevermind, i get it now.. thief arts cannot be sold in inventory but they are giving compensation, exploit it :) even though it's only 4k gold each.. |
Smiths now get a good business ))) |
This isn't a good change, production facilities are going to have much less gold now because artifacts cost much less. :S Which means crappy wages for us =D |
I forgot to mention, in addition to getting worse wages, production facilities now buy less resources than before (because of the low art costs) so it will be harder to make gold this way. Not that this was ever a great way to make gold, but now clans that defend mines will get payed much less gold/day because much less resources will be bought, because much less resources will be sold to production facilities. So in short, clans will be getting much less gold from now on. |
Not neccessarily man, more players will be able to afford to buy them now. I mean, there are definately players out there out of the 20k playing at peak times, who can buy an artifact for 10k gold, instead of the earlier 20k+.
Let's assume, Earlier 2 players bought 20k worth of artifacts from production facilities, because they could afford it. Now that the artifacts are more reachable due to less price, more players (say 4-5 players) will/can buy them from facilities, directly. Might give a boost to facility.
Not to forget, repairing costs are lowered too.
We will have to observe for a few days. |
for Dragon Eater:
lower cost also means more people will buy. so wages won't change too much |

Not really. There will be a small increase in buying, but not much, and it won't last long. Although arts got cheaper, the cost/battle is still the same, which is why the number of arts bought won't change much. |
Let's give the different scenarios and provide answers so everyone knows what to do.
1. If I have a shop art that I'll use often - Better to get compensation and buy new? What is the difference?
2. If I have a shop art that I will hardly use - Better to get compensation? What is the difference?
3. For the above 2 questions, what if they are hunter arts?
4. Is getting 'compensation for all items' a good idea? Will we 'lose' gold ?
5. Is there any changes to the 'value' of enchanted arts, given the changes to repair cost and no 'resale' value to Empire? |
6. Is there any artifacts where it's *not* good to get compensation now ? |
