Team survival tournaments can be introduced
The scoring will be same as those of survival tournaments and teaming can be planned or random as in paired tournaments! |
It is too difficult to have two players that would really play together
Moreover, It take times to calculate and ST don't have time limit
If no time limit, and a player go afk and other player eat and sleep where he/she is.
If time limit , AFK player could ruin the whole battle
+Bad connection could also ruin the combat because of time limit
So, although I don't want to decline other idea

I think its pretty good. If there will be a button wich you can press so you're ally can take over troops when you can't.

but how will you decide score and prize,i mean ST is done by faction-wise what abt teams ?.The idea is good but it needs some polishing :)

1.60 or 90 second timer can be applied for each turn
2.You get 10 tries instead of 5 for each planned team and random team
3.Prize not done by faction-wise
4.Score is applied for both players in team

Great Concept.
As for coordination, I guess even 2v2 Battles require the same coordination that a Team Survival would require.
We have had permanent teams and random teams for 2v2, and it has worked pretty good, so I dont think that should be a problem.
90 Sec timer is good enough for survival. Or you can give the option to your partner, to be able to add 90secs to your timer if required. This will solve afk problem, as well as gives thinking time. ;) |
And maybe the entry gates for creature can be introduced from 4 to 8!

to solve the afk problem. Normally if a team member is afk in GB for 5 turns, his troops die.Instead of dying maybe the troop control transfers to the team mate. It doesn't have to be 5 turns. It can be 2 turns.
Prizes are distributed factionwise in normal ST because every faction has some or other kind of weakness. If there are 2 different factions, the weaknesses can be nullified to some extent if troops are planned expertly. |

for the sole reason of necros and tribals teaming up or tribals and elves. battles take 6+ hours each or they might just run out of time as necro and tribal have rediculous survivability.
major hastle to write down the 60+ waves that would be unlocked if team ST were to happen. |
Solution to #13 might be to increase the difficulty itself.
Also it would be possible only in planned event,in random anything might be possible |

barb is nothing comapred to tribals. tribals deal as much damage s barbs but take reduced damage from spirit. |
