Author | merceneris guild faild to do quest in 600 minutes. |
i think that when you passed the 600 minutes the quest will be auto faild and you can go and finish it at the merceneris guild.
becuse lets say i took a quest army of tribals (4) and i forgot it and went to sleep. i open game agin and i see i have -200 minutes of the quest then i need to keep fight waste my ap for even 3 combats until i can finish with that quest. insted of just turning it in . |
travel back to the MG office and it will tell you you failed and you get a new quest after some time. At least it used to be like that. Havent done any merc missions anymore in half a year. |
no now if you go there it show you u need to finish quest and even if you sucsufuly killed them u faild the quest |
for babywolf:
That is what Sven91 said. If you don't travel back in time, the mission will be a failure regardless of you winning the specified battle or not. |
and i noticed that even if you finish it after the time limit and go report as failure, it will not stay the same wave anymore, the next time u meet this it will be like next difficulty
So the only way to make it stay the same is to failed the MG quest within time and failed the fight |
for aka : you didnt understand my suggestion.
i know that affter time passed it doesnt metter if u win the fight or loose its fail either way . but the thing is affter you faild with the time the quest doesnt end (you must fight to fail) so i suggest that if you allready passed the time you dont need to fight you just go to the guild and fail insted of fighting |

That is the answer to your question.
Don't think you can handle it?
wait all 600 minutes to be over, go back to the MG place, and the quest will be failed.
You don't need to fight in a combat. |

I think his main problem is this: then i need to keep fight waste my ap for even 3 combats until i can finish with that quest.
The way I understand it, this is babywolf's problem: quest is to kill off X army in Y attempts. If you lost on the first attempt and forgot about it, you don't get another quest until you did all Y attempts even after time limit has been exceeded. I have never failed that quest this way so I cannot really confirm or refute this. Anyone care to test? XD |

If you do one battle, you don't need to do the other 2 to fail the quest, however, you must wait for the 600 minutes to be up before you can go back to the MG and FAIL the quest.
I think his point may be "If you fight the army once, and think you can not win against it, then we should be able to go back to the MG instantly and cancel the quest and lose the reward.) |

By 1017 hour server time he failed by timeout but he seems to suggest that the game requires two failure conditions (timeout and X losses) before giving him a new quest. Have you failed by timeout and tested if MG will give you a new quest without forcing you to fight X times? |
