We should be having a price mechanism in the market instead of only selling posting their price.Buyers should also be able to quote what they'll pay.You know, something like the real market. If that can be pulled off it'll actually be very cool and we'll totally be able to say LWM is about both fighting and economics. |

Yes but that is not for everyone. Some may do it once a while but trading is not a profession now. This way it can change. Also this will make great bargains available while prices can't really go much further than shop.Smiths will also benefit from this. |
I think it is a good idea and it has been suggested a few times before.
PS.
I think your suggestion would meet more approval if you explained it in more detail. |
rough sketch
*Types of goods-If items of all durability are allowed to be posted in this type of market it'll be hard work for coders and will be messy as all types of items sold are listed by admins.Else admins can list all items at default durability and give an option for users to list new types.
*Interface-Every item listed will show market price and have two options, buy and sell(only available if commodity is in inventory).
~Buy:Buyers can mention the price they are willing to pay and the quantity required.Else they can choose market price option. Here the bid will be matched with the lowest available offer.
~Sell:Sellers can specify the price at which they'll sell and the quantity. As with Buy here too market price can be quoted. Here the offer will be matched with the highest available bid.
*Market Price-The last traded price will be the market price or current price of the commodity.
*Matching Orders-Orders can be matched on FCFS basis. When a bid matches an offer they are immediately transferred. If bids are quoted for higher than market prices they'll simply be matched with the lowest price offered in effect making it a market price order and vice-verca for offers.
That is all that comes to my mind now but I'll be able to explain more if questions are pointed out. |

Also I didn't mention this to make the game simpler rather a lot more complex and interesting. |
