I wanted to add to this feature.
Shift + Clicking on the portrait of the creature
This will make the hero as well as troops to attack or move to the target (bows will always shoot..)
Now,this will also prove effective when there is a chance of miss click or the target is right on the Ini scale and u dont want to scroll and search it all over again or is hidden between troops
(If selected by a hero for a area spell or mass it always selects it as middle/or as many fit in the radius of the spell)

No no, there are simpler solutions to this feature, for example don't activate this feature if the target is reachable for attack.
If we have to press Shift every time we need to do main actions (attack is a main action), the interface will become unfriendly. Shift is there for secondary actions (melee attack, attack and stay etc), which is ok. |
i have an idea
instead of clicking the book and chosing , why we dont choose control and hold for 2 seconds to open the book?
for eg in druids:
for magic book press control and hold for 2 seconds.
for shoot press ordinary click.
for melee attack use shift and click^
what say? :D |
