There is no issue here.
Master spearman hits the guardians, guardians retaliate
Treefolk hits (and entangles) guardians, no retaliation (was taken by master spearman)
Straight after the treefolks attack, it's the guardians turn. They kill the treefolk (which looks like a retaliation, but is just a regular attack).
Afterwards, master spearman attacks guardians and gets hit by retaliation, which is all normal. |
