I think the cannons will play a big role in later battles, so far at +11 att upgrade my cannon 1-shot enemy cannons and can finish off like 5-10 fatsoes.
Start with them as soon you can easily carry like 75-100 tons per trip and are at least with 2 cannons at your side. With each upgrade they gain +32 hp or +3 dmg and that will sum up to a nice damage and health over time, plus the upgrades are quite cheap imo. |

they are automatically equipped and boost the stats of that particular unit. So you are looking for armaments of your own faction. |

I have found out that if i constantly carry 10 tons less than the max limit, i got 1 cannon more than my opponent. That in accordance with level 10 cannons at around 100 tons of shipment works well so far. And of course always max AP with maskrobe on back |

@Blackdeathgr: this also works with just 5 less than max load. My cannons are doing serious damage. Sometimes I just block the bridges with my troops and let the cannons do the work :D.
I must say though, it's nice to have an event where Red Demon shines :). I hope this becomes a permanent feature in the game, that you can travel to East Island by ship, but can get ambushed by pirates. |

Upgrade cannons to that much level possible...
Make simple calculations, that is, Silver needed to upgrade next ship must be kept, and remaining gold upgrade cannons to as much extent...
