TUTORING PROGRAM
To enable players to have help from a fellow experienced player, in the following cases:
Newbies: Players of low Combat Level, usually with no more than a few months of active account. Needing long-term help with most areas of the game:
-General Game Rules: transfers, add chars management, etc,
-Character Building: choice of faction, faction resistances, guild(s) development, gold management, etc,
-Combat and card games: key units, arts, strategies, etc,
-General information: enrolling, special arts and enchants, donations, special server events, forum rules, etc.
Experienced Players: Needing short-term help when changing faction. Tutoring should focus on castle constructions, combat strategies and optimal unit usage (hunts, guilds, ST, etc.)
GUIDELINES
Tutors must:
-Be knowledgeable in all required areas, or at least know where to discover pertinent information (Ingame Forums, Clan Forums, Online chats, etc.),
-Review Tutees's battles, and also be present during Tutees' battles (with special care during PvP battles, as not to upset other players),
-Be fluent in English or, if need be, in the Tutee's first language,
-Have no significant game rules violations,
-Have daily ingame activity,
-Be ready to guide a Tutee to becoming an accomplished player over the course of several months.
Tutors should:
-Have skype account, and get tutees to join skype aswell,
-Be online at the same hours of his/her tutee,
-Be online to help other players' tutees if need be,
-Be adult and mature players, with impeccable presence in Forums.
General Notes:
-Guiding a newbie to join the Tutor's MC should not be a problem; however, the Tutee must not be forced or coerced in any way into a MC,
-In case the newbie has a low Combat Level and/or has already made mistakes he wishes to undo, recommendation can be given to start a new account, possibly following the Tutor's referral. Such recommendation should be made ONLY when the Tutee is to gain obvious advantage in starting over.
-Performance of the Program in general, and of each Tutor in particular, is to be evaluated on a regular basis by the ICC Councilors.
Practical Aspects:
-Tutors/Tutees should have a line in profile stating who are they tutoring/being tutored by,
-Problems/issues that arise are to be solved by the ICC on a case by case basis. |
