AuthorUnfair changes of AI (Chances of special abilities for armies reduced)
'Unruly' ability of brutes is strike very rarely. (In my case)
(Unfair admin, increased chances of abilities to AI and reduced to real players)

*Check out the below battle link and also check out my other facility defense battles.

*Before the AI change, the 'unruly' ability strike at least once in a battle.

*But after the changes, 'Unruly' ability stricken for my brutes once or twice in 10 battles.

Even, they reduce chances of abilities for all creature too. (Stun, konckback, blind and so on)
just a guess, I do not know whether it is true...

trigger chance of abilities like unruly is based on total hp of attacking and defending stack.
since AI stacks are smaller now, the trigger chances have been changed as you describe.

this seems perfectly logical to me.
† Triggering abilities may trigger during any attack. The probability of triggering depends on HP of damager and target.
If DHP ≥ THP, then
Probability = 25% + 3% * (DHP/THP);
else
Probability = 25% - 3% * (THP/DHP)
where:
» DHP is the total remaining HP of the damaging stack;
» THP is the total remaining HP of the target stack;
» Trigger probability lays within the interval of [5%;75%];


you can find this explanation in about the game. It has always worked like that and I dont see anything in your battle that indicates a different behaviour.
AI troops always bigger than players. hence, i assume it will trigger more often, more unit = more hp

after all, i dont see how significant other ability was reduced the trigger chance. you can always use soldier luck to increase the chance :)
it gets even tougher when troops with such hich recruit count move in such a way that almost every move of theirs gets a morale burst... ._.

You're not supposed to *be able to* win every kind of fight with every faction.

I just watched the battle... and now I understand the complaint.
You guys moved very much like the old AI (have no fear... charge!!!)

It looked like elf and dwarf could still win the battle,
until ursary )bravely( attacked ghost and brutes got lucky against trees with the unruly triggers.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
