I was loosing it to reduce difficulty of next caravans, and lava dragons did suiside.
That's so foolish of AI.

It may be that, AI calculated that my tree, couldn't kill lava dragon, but why is luck not included in AI there?? | AI calculated that there was no way it could win. Your hero could hit the lava dragon, which would do more damage then 21 HP damage. So it would die if it kept running.
Knowing it would die it chose to attack, thats normal AI behavior.
How could the AI calculate that you would make him win? It can't, AI is programmed to win or die trying.
This is definitely not a bug. | It's not even about win or die, it just tries to kill as much as possible, and it saw that it is gonna lose the very next turn so it hit you, die with honour xD

It never attack me, but the hero did.
All of sudden, it attacked, does that make any sense?
If it had to kill as much as possible, why didn't it attack when the creature was left with 11 hp in whole army? instead it ran away and waited. | There is a minor bug here yes.
The AI calculated that the treefolk can't kill the lava dragon, but it didn't take luck into consideration. So, its plan was to kill as many treefolks possible with dragon and then the rest would be dead by hero (AI showing off its skills muahahah).
It was actually helping you reduce the caravan difficulty even more, because you'd deal 10 damage more to it and then lose.
