Can you imagine living for years completely isolated from the rest of the world? Dwelling in some of the darkest pits where any shadow can be hiding a savage beast ready to tear you to shreds? This is bound to leave deep wounds – deeper than those left by a troll’s teeth or even the sting of a scorpicore.
Thanks to his special gift of empathy, Councillor Kh’Everst sensed the dungeon elves’ pain like no one else. He knew it fuelled their hatred towards everything strange and foreign. Learning of their history helped the Councillor to understand them better.
Facing overwhelming Survilurg forces, dark elves had been pushed back into the caves – the territory of their natural enemies. Fighting for survival against the vile underground creatures year after year, they learned to tame some of them and even to set them on each other. While this provided a glimmer of hope for a peaceful future, deep inside the elves knew the odds were against them.
In such circumstances, the Empire’s offer was a true flash in the pan. It seemed too good to be true: too difficult to turn down, yet too scary to accept, at the same time. But Kh’Everst was not one to despair easily. “At least there’s no knife sticking out my back yet,” he consoled himself.
Dear Lords and Ladies, the parley with dungeon elves hasn’t been easy but is slowly moving forward, which is a good sign. Meanwhile, court wizard Abu Bakir has gathered all available knowledge of the new dark elf class and prepared the arena for the Tamer Dark Elf insight tournament. During this survival tournament, all characters of combat level 5 or above can try out the brand new creatures and abilities as well as a temporary makeover.
All tournament battles are fought without artefacts, and your stats, skills and army are fixed throughout the tournament. Those who are most successful in mastering the new class will earn unique achievements.
[Update] Although all survival tournament battles are fought until you lose, in this one they will count as wins for your profile record.
[Update] During this tournament only, creatures with ‘Invisibility’ can activate that ability as often as once per wave.
Tamer Dark Elf is the new alternative class of the Dark Elf faction. Thanks to their unique faction ability, ‘Summon underground creatures,’ Tamer Dark Elves are able to summon Spiders, Harpies, Evil Eyes, or Trolls from the dungeons to the battlefield. The number of summoned creatures depends on your DE faction skill level, while their type depends on your combat level and the buildings available in your DE castle.
