The last moments of life of the portal of time were quickly slipping away - and with every moment, more and more heroes were returning from past to present. Someone without unnecessary emotions and words immediately went back to his castle, in order to have a good rest after the end of a a difficult campaign. Others did not miss the opportunity to share their personal achievements with each other and, of course, to discuss various rumors about recent changes in the life of the Empire. Was it coincidental that they once again coincided with the expedition of Abu-Bakir in the past ? Nobody know the answer of this question for sure, unless the court magician himself, but he did not hurry to share his knowledge. As he did not hurry to confirm or deny yet another rumor, about his recent night sortie on the battlefield, the events of which were preserved only in his memories.
Another lightning strike lit up the midnight gloom, rapidly leaping from the target to the target and leaving behind it only fuming remains and a handful of ashes. This is difficult to survive, but if anyone could - a few moments later was buried under a flurry of meteorites that fell from the sky. The final point was a magical arrow that rushed far away and struck the last enemy sanding on its feet.
- The undead is defeated, Master! - said the archmage, referring to the court magician standing behind him.
- We do not have much time, - said Abu-Bakir, calming the raging elements in his eyes, - Follow the trail of the magic arrow - this specimen must have survived!
And the magician, as always, was right. His final “stroke” struck the last lich of the past, leaving on the ground almost unaffected staff. Bending over the necromancer's weapon, Abu-Bakir take off his cloak - and quickly wrapped his gloomy trophy into it. A moment later, he took a phial with a bluish powder from the pouch and showered the entire surface of the wrapped staff abundantly.
- Bring it through the portal and take it to the palace in my lab, - the court magician held out his staff to one of his archmages. - And until my return, keep an eye on him!
After bowing, the subordinates of Abu-Bakir disappeared into the night shade, leaving their master alone with the reflections on the correctness of his decision. The court magician understood that his colleagues would hardly approve of this act, but by the will of skeptics, progress will never be achieved. But in this staff the wizard saw the potential of long-lost by history, knowledge. And let their nature lurked in the magic of the original Darkness, they still required careful study in the name of the scientific development of the Empire!
Heroes, the life of the portal of time has expired - and our campaign in the past came to an end. The court magician Abu-Bakir thanks everyone who responded to his appeal and steadfastly ensured the safety of the scientific expedition. For the hardiness and bravery shown, everyone who managed to collect at least 600 crystals awarded with a special unique artifact. Its durability depends on the number of crystals collected! And the top 31 Heroes will receive these artifacts with a maximum durability of 90:
  
The top 10 clans will be generously rewarded with gold from the treasury of the Empire. Lists of the top 50 heroes and the top 50 clans were forever listed in the history of the Empire.
