First battle: he did not setup (timer hit 0), did not move until his troops become AI controlled.

Second battle: 13 minutes later, in the next batch of CG battles, again, he does not setup, deployment timer hit 0 but he did not skip turns.

Playing Devils advocate his behaviour could in part be explained by lack of understanding about the mirror no longer working in CG, thus starting battle he knew he could not do, but thought the mirror would do it for him. This of course does not explain lack of deployment. | He plays CG almost daily, I can't imagine how he could have missed the update.
