I had the worse experience with the campaign.
Spend plenty of money (artifact shop only). I'm not going to complain, just decided that campaigns are out of the questions. The difficulty level is ridiculously high if you don't have the rare sets.

Well, that's my two cents.

well, shouldnt have tried anyway. you have only ONE faction built. with one faction, you can not reach AG1 even if play all 3 camps with both wizards ;)
If you're finding it hard now, then probably you'll never find it easy.
Now its only possible to complete at just shop arts ( except few fights from few factions ). After sometime it will become impossible to win with shop arts, just like the other 2 campaigns.

Why is that? Does the Difficulty increase with more people completing it?

Officially difficulty is supposed to be based on a (theoretical) win rate (so in easy difficulty anyone doing it should have say 90% win rate and hard maybe 70% or wathever).

But in practice instead of losing (and getting low score) players just equip better arts, so the system thinks battles are too easy, so people wear yet better arts,... Or that's my take on it at least :)

If you're finding it hard now, then probably you'll never find it easy.

I have to say it is not necessarily straightforward as wizard, many battles promote playing as destruction but in campaigns might is often a better build.
the system behind is that as same as in WG errands: All battles so are offered are won by another player. So at start players win in shop arts, next want to raise records, uses special art like sword of cold, ring of cold and so on, which are also defined as shop arts. At the end, battle strength rises that high a decent player, which is not willing to burn tons of gold has no chance. Take last hunt event like an example, that is the way things go. Besides that imagine, those record hunt will also be in errands some day. I came back after longer break and beeing extremely disappointed i can rarely do anything because cannot compete with players my CL with huge amount of more attributs due higher LG, HG and MG levels. Admins should overthink a balancing about this and not compare player only with combat level.

When previous 2 campaigns were introduced, they were initially set at easy too, just like current campaign; doable with just shop arts.
Now its impossible to win with just shop arts. Soon after few months, you'll see same scenario with this new campaign.

No wonder they feel too impossible.
And here i thought i was just too rusty to win them. :D
The problem of it is that the difficulty rises after practicly each players completion, so the more people have completed it the harder it becomes. Now imagine a complete new player coming aboard, practicly all the campaigns have been done with rare sets by then so he'll get a complete beating after beating at even easy and will not have a chance whatsoever, it's allready no wonder there hardly comes any new players, so might as well leave a siur taste to those that do.
Instead of making the adventure guild the same for everyone and increase the difficulty only for you after you complete it for your next time, adding a replayability value for you as well, the admins chose the illogical way instead. It would be like in mercenary guild someone beating a L1 quest and now that quest is for everyone else L2 and keeps on rising this way, by the time that quest shows up in your list it will have become L24 orso. And yet the admins chose this way for adventure guild, so bravo admins, here is to you changing the mercenary guild into this way as well to make it more complete.
That's pretty harsh ain't it... I'm sure they are open to suggestions, and they'll definitely improve it in the long run. I really like the idea of a single player campaign.

I'm not complaining. The problem is that the difficulty level was escalating rapidly and top shop artifacts won't cut it beyond novice level. I do love challenges. I like the events when some battle were impossible to win and other were challenging. However, in those events, at the end, we did quite well based on our skills.

Well, the campaign was a disaster in terms of economy wise. As I enjoy and having fun in the game, I'll stick to many other activities. Well, no AG1 for me (at least for the time being).

Regarding resistance, I'll use POT event to create resistance.
