Im not a "Hardcore" player anymore, for whatever reason, so I wouldnt "Care" as much as others maybe.
(Still, if Im suggesting this maybe I do care... Idk really Lol).

Anyway:
... I imagine those Hardcore players, pretty much getting "Frustrated" (Or at least feeling "Bad), if for whatever reason they pass a day without playing, and then they miss a very Special Day mini-event thing.

Why?
Because they didnt know. Simple as that.

Indeed, that'd remove the "Surprise effect".
... But I'd rather know whats to come, to prepare myself for that specific Day.
Example: The Builder Day, some didnt have Gold for it.

But hey I like that they did this mini events in the first place.
Because before we didnt have anything of this, now we do.
Just trying to "Improve" it.

I'd prefer to keep things a surprise tbh, we were given an initial announcement saying there will be daily bonuses. But an actual calendar detailing wouldn't be as fun tbh.
Well i agree with meshy
there will be no fun if they tell in advance
we were given an initial announcement saying there will be daily bonuses

when was that ?? i didn't know about it

Not always but sometimes

We ourself peep into .ru and translate it ourselves. Saw empire making announcements recently.

But the calendar thing will be useful - can plan according to the events - this will increase player activity - who cares about surprise
Does anyone actually think its fun waiting to find out what day is next?

+1
Example: The Builder Day, some didnt have Gold for it.

But it would never be implemented for this reason, more diamonds for admins

Yes

Maybe for some. Cant deny that the calendar thing is useful for people who don't really login everyday.
Example: The Builder Day, some didnt have Gold for it.

but a diamond sale going on, dia upgrade prices were also with 10% discount that day. for russian payment systems, my guess, one pays and gets diamonds less than an hour.

btw, you made my day with :

Im not a "Hardcore" player anymore,

sorry to say, you were never been one. (neither am I)

if want to see what that means, check leena's combat log for the day of 1.5 HG point hunts. wont be hard to find, since she (he ?) made 400+ of those in one day ;)

about the idea of calender : no, personally raher have the surprise factor
It'll be convenient yes, but still i'd prefer to have surprise factor.

im glad when i do 10 hunts.
for Meshy:
for shubhamgoyal:
for ProZyk:

Then you could just ignore the calendar :)

Today's log is good enough. Though my definition of hardcore is not paying a significant chunk of money for a relatively negligible and unfair advantage.

The problem of these days is that it incentivise doing special things on a special day which means it's sub-optimal doing it the other days. It also means that if you get the calendar about what is going to happen then some players will stop say hunting outside of the hunt days. That might already happen without a calendar if that kind of days repeats itself (without changes in its implementation), but it will make it worse with a calendar day.

Reminds me of the faction time-limited bonus which were removed from the game because nobody would fight when they were inactive.
