| Has this been confirmed as a bug? Just reading the description, careful aim seems to simply state it protects allies from through shot, regardless of who fired it. |

Yes, has been discussed, since the interaction is surprising, I admit.
They have doubts whether it is Intended or not, but it is now "part of the game", as they say in that thread.
If they didn't change it yet, probably won't be, since it has been probably reported to Admins already plenty of times. |

Thanks both for replies. It's true that now that I carefully read the description, it can be understood it should act like that.
I still don't believe it's expected, and more like a bug that got passed as 'intended' but oh well. It's not like it's that important anyway, and everyone can use it I guess. |
| The description says 'adjacent' troops don't get hurt by through shot. So only if the allied troops are present in an adjacent tile to the battle magi , they wont get hurt. |
