Hi all,
I'm going to be working more closely with Spartak142 (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=1920731) and the rest of the hwm daily team.
My main role will probably be around translating articles and saying nice things about the admins.
So if there are any articles you want translated for the .com community, then please let us know and we will work on it. Similarly, we may try and run contests like we did the bard contest, so if anyone has any fun suggestions of contests, please let us know about that too.
If nobody suggests any articles they want translated, I'll just assume that everyone is happy with the level of service we are currently getting.

I presume the idea of this is so that us .commers do not have to go to the ru version and translate things and thus reduce the disparity of service. However, in order to do as you have requested we have to go .ru, translate it, read it to then know that we would appreciate if it had been translated.
OF course I get the logic that one or two may do this, and that may let people know based upon the benevolent disposition of their character. However, I think a null response is more likely to indicate that people do not know what they are missing on the .ru side to be able to tell you if they would like it in English.
For me personally I am inclined to trust that you and Spartak will be reading the Ru daily and will have good intuition of whether it is of interest to us and to translate it if it is. After all, anything translated is a bonus so ultimately I am happy for whatever we receive.

This is pretty much what we have been doing this whole time.
Also, we would be happy to hear if anyone is interested in any specific research/articles (even if they do not exist yet). We are open to suggestions for new articles. We also welcome lords and ladies who would like to contribute to the community by writing a fresh article (in English of course). |
