All lords and ladies of combat level 5 or above may fight this type of enemy on the map.
Beat the enemy 5 times to earn 1000 gold, 10 times for 2000 more gold, and 15 times for an additional 2000 gold.
For each victory from 1 through 5, earn +0.5 Hunters' Guild points. Victories 6 through 10 will each give you +0.5 Mercernaries' Guild points. +1 Watchers' Guild point will be yours for attaining each victory from 11 through 15.

| Just done in minn ap as dwarf for 5 battles, not that close yet. |
for Gameaddict: until the 14th round I went with min ap. not that hard. was hard only when there were shooters in their team.
15th round I went fully kitted up, yet it was intermediately tough |

I'm guessing it all comes down to the faction and the kind of troop split up you do.
Most of them were those smaller stacks with rogues like initiative and attack so using shooters and troops which can do damage around you like efl would help.
Also since the stacks are going to be really large, it's better you tank up on some initiative, Luck and morale to earn turns quickly and trigger luck as much as possible
Having a high defense helps. Because you want to take down those high stack units with one shot without having much damage on the return hit.
I went with elf because it had the perfect combo of shooters and initiative to hit fast and move. All the while id use tree folk to glue the big tall guy.. Efl to quickly wipe out large stack units. |
