Dwarf alt is here?

AuthorDwarf alt is here?
for Omar Contreras:

I dont need to answer this just take a look at unties abilites
In Heroes, it was mostly about the color scheme. Normal dwarfs were dark and red, alt dwarfs were light and blue. Invoker is a blue unit (like mountain sentries and harpooners, and beatslayers, etc)
This isn't heroes though :P
while we can see the alt upgrade, almost all of them are missing some abilities (at least in english)
and yeah, alt elf info are yet to be put in the castle page

Yes, and they don't support your conclusions.
Going by color schemes, it does feel more natural for dreadbane upgrades to be swapped.
In Heroes, it was mostly about the color scheme.

It's more than just the color scheme though. Just like this game, the alt creatures were introduced at a later time, in an expansion. When the dwarf faction first appeared, they included the flamelords (aka punishers). The thunder thanes (aka invokers) were added in the expansion. Thus if you play without the expansion, you would have only the original dwarf creatures.
Admins had trouble implementing the Flamelords' ability. So they went with the altgrade for the regular faction at first.
When we get alt Dwarf, all units will be correct except that one.
Considering how shadow barb got it's unique upgrades a long time after it was introduced, I think they wouldn't be closed to the idea of chaning upgrades now.
So if they think that we want the change, I can only imagine them performing the swap.
no punishers are related to flame based attacks which alt dwarf is based on

Sure, that's why the base dwarf grandfathers cause fire vulnerability, to increase T6 lightning damage.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
