If we calculate the threshold using 20% bonus (not the current 15%!):
1000 rubles /40 = 25, 25 /1.2 ~20.8 (21) dagger
2000 rubles /40 = 50, 50 /1.2 ~41.6 (42) shield
4000 rubles /40 = 100, 100/1.2 ~83.3 (84) cloak
But 83 was enough for the cloak when I expected to get it on 84, so this is not the correct explanation either (unless they round 83 * 1.2 = 99.6 to 100). |

No, they count as long as you got them during the offer period and together add up to the rewarding thresholds.
But it is better to buy them in bulk to maximize the number of chests of abundance (multiple of 10s) since these chests do NOT keep track of left-over diamonds.
E.g.
15 diamonds twice = 1 chests twice (5 diamonds left-over not counted)
30 diamonds once = 3 chests
Those chests DO count the bonus diamonds.
E.g.
87 diamonds with 15% bonus = 10 chests (87 * 1.15 = 100.05 with 0.05 left-over). |
