| Net thrower is an overpowered ability. I guess it's good news that they only have one shot, but I'm going to hate seeing them in events (if they happen to be a part of them). |

| They likely wont be epic units with stats like those. It has 1 defense and 25 hp so should be not so hard to kill and free a stack from its net. Probably rare at best. But i have to say net thrower is an extremely useful ability. |

| I guess their utility will also depend on priority AI gives them in a combat. They can easily get one shot even by a small shooter stack, unless it decides to kill some other troop present. If they are included in LeG, they will be useful in non-hero battles, and battles where enemy hasn't got enough shooters. Interesting troop for sure. |
Unless their behaviour is fixed (they target shooters who do not give a shit about speed 99% of the time) they will hardly pose a threat as AI opponents.
Being YOUR unit in LeG, however, could be nice. Imagine immobilizing an enemy monster, killing all other units and coming with just a handful of crossbowmen laughing in the monster's face from within 3 tile range and 10 arrows in the quiver :D |
