Blacklist players from CG team

A lot of times I have been teamed up with players having sub-par stats (2-3 levels below their CL average) or sub-par gameplay. It is very frustrating when you are up against stat monsters or even moderate players. This results in sheer frustration and waste of time.

I would like to have an option to blacklist some players so that they never can be in the same team as mine in the match-making.
The odds are simple. The probability that these players in your enemy team is a lot more than them being in your team. Their existence should make CG easy for you, not harder.
I'm sure it is more frustrating for them than for you..

If players were able to blacklist players like this, sooner or later it is likely that we will end up with games where it is basically players with good stats vs players with bad stats, as obviously players with bad stats will be blacklisted by everyone, thus they can only be paired up with other players with bad stats.

Prozyk has it right. Assuming you're decent yourself there are 2 chances for a noob to be on the opposite team and only 1 chance for them to be on your team. It's annoying when you have to carry but the maths is in your favour.

Having a blacklist option would also kill the matchmaking and would be kind of unfair for well meaning players who have bad stats. Blacklisting for a 2 stat difference is cruel.
The blacklist could be limited to 2-3 players, like those that frequently AFK or don't want to strategize as a team and are toxic.

I would prefer that the balancing start taking into consideration the stats/pumping of players involved in the battle a bit better. CG should not be the place where very low stat players build up their character, as it makes the outcome of the battle obvious and will waste the teammate's time and gold ( a simple example is a CL14 with FSL11 in their main faction and 4 anti-FSL in other factions going against a CL14 with FSL9-10 and no anti. The latter stands virtually no chance). Players looking to build their characters should do so in guilds like HG, MG, TG, RG, LeG prior to joining CG and not the group battle format.

I think Blindspot is saying 2 combat levels of stat differences, not just 2 stat differences. As in, this player has the stats of a level 11 at level 13, therefore they are probably missing several guild levels as well as a bunch of anti FSL. There are few people that play CG that would make a big fuss over 2 stats like +1 attack and +1 initiative, which can often be accounted for in battle with armaments or RNG

I am talking about players with 10-15 and even more stats differences. Or players who unblind enemy units to let them freely kill your troops.

That's why the blacklist I proposed is for not being teamed up with them. Not for avoiding a match against them :)

I have found only about 4-5 such players till now which I want to blacklist. A nice example would be a "king" (not wanna write his full name but those who play CG often would understand).
The solution Techy suggested here could help in not ruining the CG for all.
The blacklist could be limited to 2-3 players maybe a limit of 3-5 would suffice.

Yup, sorry for not being clear. What I mean is a CL 17 player having stats of an average CL 14 player or pumped CL 13 player or CL 16 player having stats of an average CL 14 player.
the luck and morale stat decides who wins games. i have lost 1-2 games vs 7 king of kings(super understat, no anti) as a super high stat player based on him hitting luck morale over and over and over and i hit no luck with 4 luck on like 8-9 attacks in row.

so big -1. there are a lot of things that need to be addressed in this game to change the coinflip that pvp is. as an elf main i can say that the amount of times i hit blind with unicorns is 1/1000th of the times enemy elfs hit it when they vs me. might as well be 100% trigger

which means they get to play only among themselves until they improve.

Another way to cope with this could be temporary bans from CG as in other games.
Like in CSGO, people can report players for Griefing, hacks, etc. Here, after the combat, players can get an option to report a teammate and if a player gets like 3 reports in a short amount of time, they would be banned from CG for next 3 hours. Subsquent bans can increase the duration of ban - 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h, 48h, 1 week, 2 week, 1 month, etc. This solution would help with players having very bad stats as well as players who have a very bad sense of gameplay and knowledge of different factions.

wrong. i consider myself quite good at cg, but i still make mistakes. sometimes those lead to loses and i look back and learn what not to do in the future. the only thing that should be reportable in cg is intentionally losing/afk
yes, mistakes happen, but you wouldn't be making mistakes again and again in different fights, right? Hence, you wouldn't get reported by a lot of players (like 3 reports) in short amount of time. If you keep repeating mistakes that lead you to being reported by multiple people so frequently, you, my friend, wouldn't be considered quite good at cg and surely need some time off CG to rethink about strategies and gameplay :)
The admins are never going to permit a situation where someone can't play CG because they're bad at the game.

This is tantamount to choosing who you play with and is against the principle of Commander's Guild. There's normal group battles for anyone who don't like playing with sus players in their team. I think. I haven't played in a while. Maybe it's time for "ranked" games where players are pitted against those with similar "elo" rating.

Very bad idea. 10 to 15 stats less players in CG are very very rare after level 15. It may happen if the player is not wearing good enough arts. I suggest to reclassify ammunition points for each art, and keep minimum ap for CG such that no one can join CG in those cheap green arts.

That's how PvP should work but this game has not enough players to do that.
The game doesn't need to have a lot of players to have rankings. Any (reasonable) ranking system will be better than the matchmaking we have right now, which we can assume to be random (as long as the levels match) given that the admins haven't indicated otherwise.
I have 19 parameters less than top CL23. Can I exclude him?
Actually I want to exclude all 48 players which are above me.
Let's leave only those 42 which are below me.
