and "only ship artifacts are allowed". What are ship artifacts? :D

Definitely, fast and high damage races will have an advantage!
Altho' a dwarf can dish a ton of damage with a good retribution rune. And a mayhem on those building does miracles as well :)

You can mayhem a building? Wow, didn't know that.
This looks like new. A spell called necromancy can raise your opponent's dead troops as your undead army. Look at the 5 rogues raised by the hero in the middle of the fight.

Happened twice in this battle too. Notice that the raised creatures keep their original A&D parameters. So better choose which troops to die first when facing a lot of such necromancy spell creatures ;)

i played innate swiftness tribal and had an easy time. crypt waves was nothing but spirit food lol
had good success with defence focus setup one of these events with tribal spam until massive poison units but i can just swap to necromancer for that in this case. having 60-70% damage reduction from event bonus and expert def+ gear reduction+anti=unkilable vampires for the 90-100 stages i think. or you can just play the yolo offense elf builds and try to 1 shot enemies.
For those who are always looking to do things on the cheap, you can do the first 10 easily enough in min allowed AP with mostly grace arts

for dwarf/elf/barb what do you guys put the % to? Fury barb shooter is pretty strong right now but i see more mobs with shielded later on

tribal is quite fun and stacking pure defense with them is quite strong imo. will be decent for later levels where vampire in corner strategy will likely be needed.
How does +% work?
Does it calculatet from my stats or creature's?
I think it is just a % tacked on at the end, so encompasses all starts.

For the cheapskates like me out there, 10-15 are ok in min allowed ap. For 16 with the gnoll huts I needed cheap rings as well since if you don't reduce the stacks quick enough the gnoll skills become overwhelming

so i changed to full ini shooting battlewizzie and easy win (less shooters and basilisks - https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=1356587555&html5=1&show_for_all=M1ff2e304e5)
But it's a fun event with new units and structures. And today is only day 2 :)
