Basically you have to gather troops to better your army to beat higher level enemies. You do so by completing the first three battle types displayed in the top left corner of the pitoresque picture. First battle is the main line, it gives silver and glory, 2nd battle gives just silver and 3rd one just glory. With that currency one can purchase troops or upgrade the existing ones.
4th option of battles is for armaments...gl now!
I think it's basically the same as Saving Winter/Second Crusade for recent events, just with different troops. So if you have played those events, you should know what's up

Kind of wish we get to choose hero talents though. Don't know if we are getting holy talents or full offense + morale
So...we gonna get amphibian in collection. Thats why the let us waiting. At least we Will do 180battle till 200battle maybe more on this event. Silver and armament are the most needed here

This army not suitable to fight tent :(
I find this event quite difficult. Is there also an option for support battles to be seen?
I have not done much so far, going for defensive build as this makes waves of renewal more useful. Obviously will need to shift this for tent battles.

Doing in min AP with mostly grace stuff, comes in at 867 gold per battle. This is in comparison to more like 1600 gold for a full dawn set. So should be cheaper as long as I am not regularly losing every 3rd battle.

I will share at what point I cannot reliably win in a cheap set (currently only around level 5 in all battles, so hardly pushing it yet). Equally if anyone is doing similar and got further that would be useful info. Certainly I think knowing which build and upgrade orders to go in is pretty useful. You can come across a battle which one cannot win, then do a chunk from the other battles and come back to the same one and it is a cake walk.

Generally I guess some of that is able to be worked out in advance by looking at other peoples battles, but I cannot be bothered with that for the moment (other than looking out for when there is a tent)
In this kind of events i use a simple tactic:

I do the battles, main, caravans and the glory battles for one day just to have enough silver and glory points to be able to recruit the army for the next day and stop then. Think, many players do so, because battles then are much easier then.

and, exspecially with caravans, most highest level cannot be done with the army of that day (caravan 6 is very difficult with army from day 1)

I did it with the troops of day 2, would maybe have been possible at day 1, but in combat logs of some players i saw, they lost that battle. So, in my case, was much easier and i think, at day 1 i also would have lost it.

Actually i have about 16k silver, 15k glory points left, i am actually at main level 9, but i will stop today, buy more troops tomorrow and will have much easier life then.

And yes, this event seems to be much harder as previous event of this kind.

with my strategie that tent fight is easy.
I can't believe how dense I've been. Played all fights so far without the slightest bit of attention as to what talents are set up. As a holy caster with troops with huge damage ranges, the variance from buffing is massive. With an adjustment of parameters everything should be a lot easier

For those still waiting, I would recommend upgrading your first two troops before buying your fourth building.

The cost in silver is similar, however with the upgrade to troop you instantly get a load more hp, and damage and some key abilities

your icythys fighters get +1 speed which makes them much more likely to be able to hit what you want when you want it. Also, the 30% extra damage against those with ferocious wound means that your damage is significantly increased (together with the upgrade to damage range).

For your kappas, the addition of glacier pounce is similarly huge since it gives you damage on neighbouring troops, which since you can pounce with no retal every other turn, adds a fair bit of damage overall.

Similarly I think it best to upgrade m coral priestess before any new troop. I will definately go for spring spirits after this, even if I do not get many to begin with. The spirit ties on mighty kappas will enable them to get buffed while pouncing all over the place, and when mass holy is cast on the rest in a bunch. This with a defensive build and waves of renewal should mean they last reasonably well. The shark fighters then fully buffed should clear away any stacks left. That is the theory anyway!

It would be when I have written a poorly phrased statement that my internet glitches, and so sends the same garbled rubbish twice.

So if we want to play echo lets at least do it with something with better grammar and syntax.

In some battles there is only one real threat, and so victory in this is about how you manage and avoid that one significant danger. In this regard a sacrificial single triton could be beneficial by attacking and therefore challenging that one nasty stack. The single triton will inevitably die, though the challenge will remain, resulting in that nasty stack doing 45% less damage to all other targets and significantly reducing its damage potential.
Challenge ends after the triton dies. I’ve done enough WG against this faction to confirm this.

As much fun as jokes are, I wouldn’t want someone to lose a battle due to misinterpreting an ability.

I've done more WG than you...! Took 50 plus pages of battle logs till I found a relevant battle however

Check out this battle. I have not checked the numbers to see if is just a left over glitch that is not translated into battle damage, but very much still present

The Tritons challenge the Jade dragons, after this point the 45% damage reduction is clearly visible. This is maintained after the tritons die.
