Life across the surface of the Empire continued in full swing, teeming with a variety of events. Whilst along the underground frontier everything went on as usual, without any significant events or any prospect for change in the tense situation.
"Halt! Who's there?!" asked the guard warily from one of the outposts of the dungeon garrison, barely hearing someone’s approach, and then briskly cocked his crossbow.
"Take it easy, just friends returning" answered the voice of the leader of the approaching scouting party, whose outlines finally emerged from the shrouds of the cave gloom.
"Everyone’s safe?" suddenly the guard commander appeared from behind the guard and gestured to his subordinate to lower his weapon, "How’s the situation down below?"
"Yes, everything seems like the usual" the scout leader replied unenthusiastically, "We checked it out, fought, and checked it out again…"
"I sense a certain edge to your usually cheerful voice" remarked the guard commander.
"Yeah, I don’t even know. The clashes with the savages have become painfully tiresome recently. And they seem to only grow more ferocious with time" wearily stated the scout leader.
"Has it ever been any different?" grinned the guard commander, "Any idea what's causing that green glow that has been sighted in the deep tunnels?"
"it's already been reported?" the scout was slightly surprised, "who the hell knows? At first we tensed up, but once it faded away - we found not even a trace of anything at all. And that one, from the surface, does he already know?"
"The imperial advisor? He knew even before the first eyewitnesses returned"
"And what did he do?"
"Well, nothing. He is holed up in the fortress - studying reports and maps. Soon it will be packed here again, like a plush bakery in the spring. So get some rest - you’ll have to work twice as hard for the next week and a half"

Brave Lords and Ladies! The received secret message states the beginning of a new stage of rescue operations into the subterranean depths. The basic principle is unchanged — complete secrecy and no personal armies. And may your will for victory not break before the horrors of the cave’s darkness.

Combat briefing:
- All Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 and higher are invited to participate;
- Character talents have no effect;
- Faction skills and abilities have no effect;
- Battles can be fought only in shop artifacts;
- Artifacts’ enchantments have no effect;
- The starting army of any Lord or Lady is the same — 4 Elite crossbowmen and 10 Crusaders;
- A recruited army doesn't perish in battle;
- Lords and Ladies can recruit other units to their army. Upon a win, the surviving stack and up to 80% of the creatures killed in the stack will join the Lord’s or Lady’s army;
- Units can be upgraded at the cost of silver, which can be obtained as compensation for disbanding units. The starting army cannot be upgraded;

- Important! If necessary, available units may be disbanded by allowing them to leave the dungeon immediately. In this case, a compensation in silver equal to 95% of the disbanded unit's power will be paid. Disbanding units may only be done if there are at least 3 more units remaining;

- Important! The improved scouting system allows you to detect two possible targets at once. But only one of them, of your choice, can be attacked at a time;
- A search for both easier and harder enemies is available, the number of searches is limited until the next battle is played. The more difficult the enemy, the more powerful the unit of allies can join you;
- Important! There is an option of ignoring certain captives, in which case they will not be found in a certain amount of the next searches. Both detected units are ignored at once;
- Creature armaments can be obtained in victorious battles;
- At the end of the operation, the Empire will honor with gold all Lords and Ladies who have achieved at least one victory;
- Each victory will be rewarded with Hunters' guild and Mercenaries' guild points depending on the power of the recruited army;
- Upon reaching an army power of 200,000 every 5th victory will be additionally rewarded with a random element;
- Upon reaching an army power of 950,000 each victory will be additionally rewarded with combat potions, which can be transferred, sold on the market, or used to get a 24-hour boost to the parameters:



- Per day, it is possible to achieve up to 12 wins, the remaining wins are accumulated (the maximum number of wins is 84);
- Important! In the battles of the 1st day (first 12 wins) you can only encounter units of 1st level creatures. In the battles of the 2nd day (from 13th to 24th win) only 2nd level creatures can be encountered, and so on until the 7th day inclusive. The level of creatures encountered depends only on the current number of victories;
- Important! The same creature may join you no more than 4 times. After that, it will stop appearing;
- Important! Due to the danger of being affected by a mysterious whisper from the darkness, being in the depths is limited to 18 attempts per day, the remaining attempts are accumulated (the maximum number of attempts is 126);
- The rescue mission will last only 7 days +3 days for finishing the battles, until 12th of October inclusive.

Extremely Important! During this event, the "Battle Exhaustion" system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the abilities "Life Drain" and "Battledive" will cease to function for units in the Lords' and Ladies' armies, and all enemy units will gain the ability "Attentive", Ignore defense 50%, increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.

Explanation: This system is implemented not with the goal of reducing power but to encourage more dynamic battles. The strength of enemy armies will be balanced taking these changes into account.

Attention! Do not forget about the relatively high level of danger in such gloomy depths. Despite that you might meet troops of cowardly Tribal Goblins there. If it appears to you that you hear their pleas for help from around the corner, believe it, might actually be the case. Better to focus on your goal, though, as each Lord’s or Lady’s individual successes will be additionally rewarded with parts of special artifacts:



for 10 victories: 1 part;
for 20 victories: 2 parts;
for 30 victories: 2 parts;
for 40 victories: 2 parts;
for 60 victories: 3 parts;

In addition, up to 15 parts of Fear Robe according to the results, taking into account the personal contribution of each Lord or Lady to the success of the operation.

A complete artifact will be automatically assembled when 100 parts are available. This artifact cannot be transferred for usage or leasing, but can be transferred for repairing or enchanting.

- The top 75 military clans and all their members will be specially rewarded. Awarding will be based on the final clan ranking, where the final result will be equal to the sum of the power of the recruited army Top 100 Lords and Ladies of the clan;
- All unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans will be rewarded if they bring at least 120,000 points to the clan!
- If a Lord or Lady leaves or is evicted from a military clan, the clan loses all the points the Lord or Lady gained for that clan, if they rejoin the clan, all the points will be returned to the clan;
- Leaving the clan on the last day of the event and before the award ceremony is forbidden;
- Admission to military clans during the event is limited to three Lords or Ladies per day;
- Important! Lords and Ladies who achieve over 42 victories will not be able to join any military clan until the event is over.
