Hello,
I have seen that there is elo ratings in ru forum https://daily.heroeswm.ru/gt/rating
So i was wondering do you get only a badge near your nickname for being 1-3 place during that month, or do you get anything else? Because its crazy what you get for playing in cg 2k gold for a win at lvl 12, artifacts cost more than that for 1 battle… |
You don’t play CG battles for the badge/reward, but because the game mode itself is interesting.
After all, CG battles used to give no gold at all… |
| I know that, but its stupid. You play where the best players come with best tactics, most expensive items, and you get nothing for that, like its a simple group battle 2x2 with players who has zero skill |
Reasons I can think of:
1) given the current reward system IT IS technically possible to break even or profit, if you buy and repair your own equipment. Equipment cost 1.6k per combatish if you repair at 80% or less.
2) you like this game mode
3) more stats from leveling CG
4) CG centric "day of XXX"s give good reward, having more stats and experience in this game mode helps you make quite a bit of money on these days. |
and you get nothing for that
If you don’t enjoy CGs in themselves, then you shouldn’t play them. |

Define "best" and how much we should be "rewarded" then. Otherwise, this discussion will literally go nowhere with everyone stating their honest opinions and you repeating yourself (and us still not knowing what exactly you want).
AP and I were just stating our opinions on playing CG sustainably and also the existing rewards, which is exactly what your post asked for.
This is slowly becoming a suggestion thread, it would be cool to see rewards that scale with our CG Elo rating, definitely nice to see players who like the game mode and also do well in it get rewarded :) |
| Yeah we came a bit far from the main point. In my first post i was referring to Cg rating list in which monthly players with best result are rewarded with medals gold, silver and bronze (they are visible near nickname in that heroes.ru forum), I was asking maybe you get a gold reward with those medals, if not it would be pretty nice because its a big deal in my opinion to be the best in cg:) for a reward i dont really know how much should it be maybe 50-100k seems like encouraging reward. But its just a random thread where we can discuss as much as we want, it wont change anything. It is what it is i guess;) |

| Thats way too much. Ridrich’s suggestion is a pretty good one, the more higher your elo is the more higher the reward in gold or cg points it could be for a win. |
