From the thirst for knowledge to the chaos of misunderstanding, there is only one step. However, to arrive - you have to go. And sometimes you can see the light of what you are looking for only from afar, from where bottomless darkness reigns in the chaos of madness. Where everything fades except that which cannot dim away. The most important part on this path is not to lose yourself. It is impossible to stride through it alone. Otherwise, the chaos of endless delusions will simply swallow the unfortunate wanderer, drowning them in the abyss of oblivion.
Brave Lords and Ladies! The pirate threat is gathering momentum once more - and the sea trade routes require your protection once again! Therefore, the Empire summons all who wish to join the upcoming hunt for these dishonest scoundrels! But be careful! Rumors have it that the pirate greed has become so insatiable that they have now built even wider vessels in order to carry away more loot. Don’t let them catch you off guard, and use it against them!
Combat briefing:
1) A personal ship awaits every Lord or Lady from combat level 5.
2) The capacity of the initial ship is 50% of the creatures of the army and has a corresponding effect on magic damage.
3) Battles take place in the format of two Lords’ and Ladies’ ships against one pirate ship.
4) Victories in battles can be marked by a promotion in rank, and defeats by a reduction in rank. The higher the rank, the stronger the captured pirate's army and the higher the reward for defeating him.
5) Based on the battle result you can get silver, the amount of which depends on the naval rank and the outcome of the battle.
6) For silver, imperial shipbuilders can install new cannons, net throwers, or increase the ship's troop capacity.
7) The parameters of the cannons depend on their improvements and the Lord’s or Lady’s combat level.
8) Upon reaching the rank of "Captain" each victorious battle will additionally be encouraged with battle potions, which can be transferred, sold on the market, or used to get a boost in parameters for a day.

9) To eliminate the risk of pirates hijacking valuable items, enchantments do NOT work in combat. Only artifacts from the shop are allowed.
10) You can hunt pirates no more than 12 times a day, unused attempts are carried over to the next day.
11) The hunt for pirates will continue for 6 days in total up to and including May 28 (+4 days for the end of battles, up to and including June 1).
12) Upon defeating the pirates, the Lord or Lady may receive Mercenaries’ Guild points, creature artifacts, mercenary elements, and recovery elixirs.
13) Many pirates engage in the slave trade - so there is a chance of encountering caged creatures aboard a pirate ship. The cage can be destroyed with magic or melee. After destroying the cage the imprisoned creatures will join the army of the Lord or Lady who freed them. One squad of surviving creatures can be taken with them in subsequent battles, but losses within these squads are not recovered.
14) The Empire will generously reward the Lords and Ladies who collected the most silver, with gold and a trophy artifact.
Extremely important! During this event, the "Battle Exhaustion" system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the Lords’ and Ladies’ talent ‘Mana recovery’ will cease to function. The same will hold for the abilities ‘Life drain’ and ‘Battledive’ for the units in the Lords’ and Ladies’ armies. Additionally, all enemy units will gain the ability ‘Attentive’, and an increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.
Warlord Grammith will closely monitor the combat success of each Lord and Lady and additionally reward them with fragments of special artifacts:
for 10 victories: 1 part;
for 20 victories: 2 parts;
for 30 victories: 3 parts;
for 45 victories: 4 parts;
for 55 victories: 5 parts.
