A whole year has already passed, and these gilded rags still darken the grandeur of the monumental walls of our dear Capital. How much longer do we have to stare at these twisted colours? Our Empire in its sacred ideas is not about that at all! Where is the humility of light ochre? Where is the nobility of soft purpur? That is what truly reflects Her very essence! And all this gold comes from evil. I myself, saw with my own eyes, how it turns black in the morning twilight when the city’s inhabitants were still fast asleep. And in general: the Capital is the face of our Empire. It needs to be looked after and cared for, so that later you don’t wonder why all sorts of pyramids suddenly appear in hard-toreach places! And then it won’t take long to break the harmonious balance for which our lands have been famous for since ancient times! Therefore, I once again ask you to sort this mess out and eliminate it, since the previous 47 appeals were most likely lost somewhere in the capital’s chancery offices. And check all responsible persons for a secret conspiracy against the Empire, against its true colors and coats of arms and against the Empress herself! While Her Majesty tirelessly thinks about the well-being of all her subjects, the ‘Griffin Sect’ is clearly plotting something sinister! I urge you to take action! Otherwise, to spite the conspirators, I will be ardently rooting for the Manticores in the upcoming Great Contest!"

Valiant Lords and Ladies! Can you smell the madness? In its noblest form, the spirit of the eternal and irreconcilable rivalry that is once again in the air. It calls upon the hearts that maintain a fragile balance between courage and strength. Which of the two virtues will prevail this time will be decided by the cards of fate through the course of the Great contest!

Contest rules:
1) Any Lord and Lady of Combat level 5 and above will be randomly assigned to the Griffin or the Manticore side.
2) Enrollment for contest battles will be held at :00 and :30 of every hour (except for the night break).
3) Contest battles will be held in strict accordance with its historical canon — in 2x2 format. Besides, when a battle doesn't get enough human participants, your opponent or ally might be a computer-controlled magical copy of another participant.
4) Only shop artifacts are allowed. Enchantments have no effect.
5) The event will last for 10 days, through August 17 inclusive.
6) You may attain up to 30 victories in the contest.
7) You will receive 1.5 times the normal faction skill points, as well as gold and Commanders’ Guild points.
8) Wins in the contest will be tallied up for each side. Battles that featured magical copies of other participants will not be taken into account.
9) The competition consists of three rounds: the first and second rounds will last for 4 days each, while the third round will last for 2 days only. At the start of each round, the score of both sides will be reset to zero. The winner will be the side that prevails in at least two rounds.
10) All Lords and Ladies who attain 3 victories will receive a unique artifact (slot: backpack) — either a Griffin Gonfalon or a Manticore Gonfalon — which they may equip in this and other contests. Those who attain the maximum of 30 victories will be additionally rewarded with their side’s Order artifact!
Furthermore, a special elixir will be awarded for your 7th, 14th and 24th victories:

The elixirs have no effect in PvP events, PvP tournaments, Commanders’ Guild battles, Survival Tournaments, or Text Quests. The elixirs must be used before October 1, 2025.
