I really thought that they made the AI ignore the defenders for a turn or so to give you a chance, but alas no. I think officially it was a +3MG or something and I lose so easily.

Weirdly rewatching this old battle of mine the same visual glitch comes up, however originally they died, then came back to life for me to kill them again. I gues they didn;t think the match up was fair
