Since ancient times, twice a year, when the warmth of spring breathes away the winter chill, and when the sweltering heat of summer yields to the first cool touch of autumn — the Empire holds a glorious competition known as the Hunting Season. For ages, its ancient traditions remained unshakable; but time flows on, and all things change under the influence of new eras. No art can resist the tide of transformation.
Hunting has long ceased to be a mere craft of survival. Today, it is something more: a way of life, a leisure, a duty, and a service. The rigid boundaries and rules of harsh times long past now only stifle its potential for growth. Hunting should educate and develop; the simple desire to join the hunt should not be shattered by the severity of formal dogmas. Errors on the path to perfection should not diminish the value of honestly won trophies.
Yet, only those at the very peak, those ready to challenge not the prey, but themselves — must remember the test of honor that still awaits them. Not everyone can be the best; otherwise, there would be no legends among them.
Lords and Ladies, the Hunters' Guild solemnly announces the opening of a new hunting season and invites everyone to take part in this glorious event! However, before beginning, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the General Rulebook.
General Rulebook:
- Participation is open to all Lords and Ladies from combat level 5;
- Permitted equipment for battles against common and challenging enemies — artifacts from the shop; enchantments have no effect;
- For attacking weak enemies, there are no equipment restrictions, but enchantments still have no effect;
- Battles are conducted using your personal army against enemy armies and groups of various creatures;
- The increased magic damage for the Mage faction does not function;
- Important! The Hunter is provided with a map marked with targets of varying difficulty. Targets are selected individually for each participant; if you change your faction or class, a new list of targets will be issued;
- Important! On the first day, to receive information about targets 1-10, you must choose 5 factions from the provided list. Subsequently, you can only hunt first-day targets with these factions and their available classes. To receive information about targets for each following day, you must choose 3 factions. This choice cannot be changed for the respective day. Results from previous days can only be improved using the factions chosen on that specific day;
- Before the start of a battle, you may review the provided data regarding the enemy's deployment;
- On the first day, you can hunt the first 10 targets in any order. Each subsequent day, 10 more targets will become available. To attack a new day's targets, you must defeat all targets from the previous day on any available difficulty. There will be 70 targets in total;
- New! The ranking score is based on the number of points earned. Defeating a challenging enemy yields 8 to 12 points, a common enemy 5 to 7 points, and a weak enemy 3 or 4 points;
- New! Each battle reduces the point reward for the current difficulty and above by 1. This means battles with a challenging enemy do not reduce the reward for common or weak enemies, but battles with a common enemy do not reduce the reward for a weak enemy. Once the point reward for a challenging enemy equals the reward for a common one, attacking the challenging enemy becomes impossible. The same applies to common enemies: once their reward equals that of a weak enemy, they can no longer be attacked;
- Important! In the event of a victory over a common or weak enemy, the target is considered defeated, but you may challenge a stronger version at any time to improve your result and claim the remaining reward. A victorious battle against a weak or common enemy counts as a spent attempt and reduces the points that can be reclaimed from more difficult targets;
- Successful elimination of targets awards Hunters' Guild points, creature armaments, hunter artifacts, and gold;
- The higher the difficulty, the higher the reward; however, rewards do not stack for a single target. Claiming a reward for a lower difficulty battle will proportionally reduce the reward for higher difficulty battles for that same target;
- The Hunting Season will last for 10 days, until February 27th inclusive;
- Lords and Ladies who eliminate 50 targets will be rewarded with Abu-Bakir’s Blessing for 15 days.
- The best 75 military clans and all active Lords and Ladies within them will receive an additional reward. Ranking will be based on the final clan rating, where the result equals the total points scored by the top 100 Lords and Ladies of the clan;
- Clan rewards will be given to unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans who have earned at least 700 points;
- If a Lord or Lady leaves or is expelled from a military clan, the clan loses all points gained by that member; upon rejoining, those points will be restored;
- Important! Leaving a clan on the final day of the event and before the rewards are handed out is forbidden;
- Important! From the second day of the event, recruitment into military clans will be limited to three Lords and Ladies per day;
- Important! Lords and Ladies who score 420 or more points during the event will not be able to join any military clans until the event ends.
Important! During this event, the "Battle Exhaustion" system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the Lord’s or Lady’s 'Mana recovery' and 'Spirit link' talents and the troop abilities 'Life drain' and 'Battledive' will cease to function for units in the Lords’ and Ladies’ armies, and all enemy units will gain the ability 'Attentive', as well as an increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.
The personal achievements of each Lord and Lady will be further rewarded with 2 fragments each of War Cloak and Fear Sickle for every 150 event points earned, as well as up to 10 fragments of War Cloak based on the final results of the event.
